Ok, I have probably written this already.
I'm mumbmling about a small prototype.
It's something very similar to http://moovitapp.com/
I'm here to ask for a suggestion as simple as for a 5 years old, about what combinations of pieces I should select to hack a very simple prototype.
I'd like a screen to select a time range for the leaving or the arrival time frame that one wants and the following screen showing the list of possible travel options
In the past Semantic UI has been suggested to me but as far as I understand there's no datetime picker available for Semantic UI
There are tons of modules, thingies and stuff, though. So maybe something equivalent to the moovit UI could be put together.
But I simply get lost. I don't know where to start from.
Also there are tons of modules for Jquery. With some of those I couldn't manage to make them compile with the google closures compiler.
So, be it Bootstrap/jquery, Semantic UI or anything else, I'd just love a selection already available in cljsjs directly usable inside Hoplon to have a time range picker show up.
In some regions moovit won't be present for organizational reasons. For example in a region I know, there are more than 70 couches companies.
That is the landscape is highly fragmented and moovit is a large organization, I suppose they cannot loose themselves in chasing butterflies.
The standing fact is they don't cover the region. While they cover Sardinia, for example, where there's one couch company only.
Each of those 70 companies has its own timetable and if you want to arrange a ride in the region you have to study all of those timetables. Good luck
So I was mumbling about a prototype I could hack. A sort of voluntary effort.
I could make the data entry in a single data base (alone or with a little help from my friends) an have the data base running server side. I already tinkered with a neo4j based prototype.
I'd love to use Hoplon for the frontend but I would like to have a stack already arranged so that I could just stitch together the parts and have a time frame picker show up.
Without having to fight with google closure, unruly modules, and the such
So, any help appreciated
